Abaqus Professional Services group focuses on providing Geospatial Web2.0 solutions. We build custom solutions & services for partners who are interested in bringing the power of map data and location information to existing and newly concieved applications. GeoWeb solutions typically include custom client side maps based on the industry standard mapping layers. Data on the map is comprised of existing client data and dynamically generated location data provided by various positioning devices and services. Our clients benefit from our experience and tested methodologies and codebase that we have developed. Solutions are typically hosted by us, but other hosting arrangements and licensing models can be accomodated.

  1. Strategic Consultancy
    Abaqus consults for coroporations, and non-profit organizations on use of next generation Web infrastructure comprised of Maps, Semantic Web and Social Networking tools to further enhance their existing online capability. Our team has a diverse background which includes data, analytical & visualization applications; mobile device and network applications; Consumer Internet & Mobile technologies as well as Web 2.0 and Mapping.

    Abaqus is also able to help with day-to-day management and bring years of experience in conceiving, building and marketing software products; engineering and executive management.
  2. Mobile & CE Devices
    Abaqus team has years of experience building and selling software for mobile phone & network and interfacing with consumer electronics devices. Our current focus is to enable location based services combined with rich media on mobile phones. We build customized / co-branded solutions for smart phones on platforms such such as Blackberrry, Windows Mobile, Java, iPhone, Symbian etc. We also develop PC software to interface with consumer PNDs such as Garmin, TomTom, Geotate devices etc.
  3. Mapping Platforms
    Abaqus team builds mapping applications on platforms such as Google Map Platform, Microsoft Virtual Earth, Openlayers client, GeoServer, ESRI and PostGIS for Data store. These application include front and backend software stacks that manage users and their relevant map and location data. Applications range from full application implementations to use of embedded client components and  customized backend services.

    Abaqus provides a web-services platform that broadly supports current web application trends.
